it from "healthy worry", healthy, soothing distractions

understanding of biological reasons these symptoms may develop
- The most recent
understanding of psychological reasons these symptoms may develop
- Why obsessions
and compulsive behaviors can be so repetitive and persistent
- Overview of updated
treatment techniques
Group Processing
Segment
Participants can interact
with each other to process what its like to live with OCD as a
sufferer or as a support person. Specific discussion topics are
provided and facilitated.
Summary Segment
Bringing
together updates and insights arising from the educational and
group discussions, summarizing, supporting and motivating discussions.

Cultivating
Wise Intuition
(for young adults, or teens getting ready to move on to college)
This workshop includes an:
Educational
segment
- Describing the
transformation from shyness to confidence, wisdom and insight
- Discussion and strategies
for how to navigate around "road blocks", including
body concerns, worries, self esteem issues, indecisiveness and
others
Group Processing
Segment
Participants
can interact with each other to discuss what aspects of this transformation
have been like so far. Discussion topics are provided and facilitated.
Summary Segment
Participants
have the opportunity to discuss their thoughts and observations
from the workshop.

Building Workshop
(for committed
couples or new couples)
This workshop includes

with each other in small groups or couples to try out specific
exercises from the educational segment.

have the opportunity, if desired, to comment on what they have
heard or practiced in the workshop.
